Nest is not staying cool at night and will blow hot air. It is perfectly fine during the day.

We have checked and do not have any schedules configured. We tried to configure a schedule, but the same issue happens.

At night, temperature range is uncontrollable. Regardless of what it’s set at both the temperature and humidity levels increase (Humidity almost 70% | Temp varies from 75-80)

During the day there is almost no issue. The AC blows cold and air hangs +/- 2 degrees in variance.

Please let us know what to do.  We reset it multiple times. We also are now just keeping it on one temperature at 68 all day. Been reading and nothing helps we tried everything.

Thank you for posting. I`m sorry that your Nest thermostat does not hold a cool temperature at night. This could be annoying when you want to keep the desired temperature. Help´s here.

For this concern, if you have already tried to reset multiple times, please try to do a factory reset of your Nest thermostat to establish the factory settings and fix the problem.
