We have a Google Nest wifi consisting of a router and one additional point. The additional point keeps disconnecting regularly, as often as several times per day. The drop also happens in the middle of the night, at least according to the Home app. There are no known ISP/external technical issues, no brick walls between the units and just a couple of meters between them in connecting rooms. Power and ethernet cables are original. After a reset (dis- and reconnecting power) and completing a new mesh network test in the Home app, everything works fine again. But not for long.
We have tried a factory reset to reinstall the point from scratch. The up-time lasted a little longer after this, but not more than a couple of days. After a week, we were back to the daily disconnections. My frustation is growing and the lack of stability creates problems when working from home. Any suggestions on how to solve this issue?

Unfortunately, I'm facing the same issue, which seems to have started around a month or two ago.
I have a router provided by my ISP acting as a bridge to the nest wifi router & 3 nest wifi points. I get a notification every two hours or so telling me that "x point" has been disconnected. Cables are all fine and no other changes. Similarly, I did a factory reset and it seemed to help a bit, but the issue keeps returning.
I'm hoping this gets some traction and we can get an update for more stability. The lifespan on these should be much longer than it seems to be (I've had mine for < 2 years).

Yes, let's hope for some attention to this matter! Same as you, we have had this Google Nest wifi setup for approx 2 years.

I have been experiencing the same issue .. I have the 3 point mesh network and one point always shows offline despite trying different way to reset - even bringing them closer.. don’t think this is a good product..

Thanks, Manuel. Yes, I have of course tried all the trouble shooting suggestions (and then some). The problem persists, and I also notice that many users have a similar problem as mine. Will there be a firmware update or any support from Google to solve this?

Frequent error alerts although the cable was not disconnected. All during the night.
