Hi,
Anyone have the black/green screen issue with the Nest Hub that successfully fix the problem ?
Originally apart from the screen issue, I'm stil be able to cast music and do voice command.
After contacting Google Nest Support, who asked me to reset the device, I end up losing its speaker ability due to unable to register the device back to my Google Home app.
Thanks All !

Hi @rickytu,
I can help you with the green screen issue on your Nest Hub 2nd Gen. A green screen typically indicates a hardware problem, but there are a few things you can try before giving up on it completely.
Here's what you can do:
Soft Reset: While unlikely to fix a hardware issue, a soft reset can sometimes resolve glitches. Hold down both volume buttons on the back of the Nest Hub for 10 seconds. The Assistant will confirm the reset with a sound. After it restarts, see if the screen issue persists.
Check Power Source: Make sure your Nest Hub is plugged into a working outlet and using the original power adapter. A faulty power source could cause display problems.
If the soft reset and power source check don't work, it's likely a hardware issue. Here are your options:
Contact our Google Nest Support Again: Explain that the reset made the speaker functionality disappear. They might have further troubleshooting steps or replacement options available.
Warranty: If your Nest Hub is under warranty, they might be able to replace it for free. Check your warranty information to see if you're covered.
Best,
Brandon.

Hi @pereztzum ,
Thanks for your message.
I checked the power before I attemp to contact the Google Nest Support team.
The Nest Support agent advised me to do that reset and it's exactly what I did to now rendered the Hub useless, as I can not add the Hub back on to Gogole Home app.
Any other way to add/register the Hub to Google Home app by voice/sound rather than QR code or code display on the screen?
Warranty just out for a month and they denied to help, even that it's their fault to ask me to do the reset and resulting with a fully non-functional device 😞
Thanks again

Hi @rickytu,
I understand that you're frustrated about your Nest Hub being rendered useless after a reset recommended by our Google Nest Support. It must be really disappointing, especially since your warranty just expired.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to add a Nest Hub to the Google Home app by voice alone. The setup process usually relies on a QR code or on-screen instructions.
However to assist you better, we'll need some additional information. I'm sending you a secure form where you can provide all the necessary details and also please fill out all the information required.
Once you've completed the form, please let me know. This will allow us to investigate the issue further and find a solution.
Best regards,
Brandon

Hi @pereztzum ,
Thanks again. Form filled.
Not sure if anyone can help as the previous agent denied to help, claiming the device was out of warranty and ended the chat window straight away.
