Nest thermostat

I bought a home. It has a nest thermostat. Someone did a factory reset and now I cannot figure out how to set it up. I have the Google home app, but idk even which generation this is. Any help is greatly appreciated

Horsecrap elimination of support for Gen 1/2 thermos

It is crap you are eliminating early Gen thermostats from Nest and Google Home apps. Nice way to try and sell more equipment. We will be looking elsewhere. You are in the physical world not the digital one. You need to support products much longer.

Nest thermostat sunset: I’m absolutely livid!

Sunsetting a perfectly working device that I’ve paid for and forcing an upgrade on me?!?! Not cool at all. If Google doesn’t reverse their decision on this, I’ll upgrade to a competitor product. Terrible treatment of customers.
