Is it possible at all to cast using a samsung galaxy a22! I read a post saying I needed a C to HDMI dongle. So purchased one im not sure if it was the correct on though! Or maybe I'm not taking the steps correctly the directions were pretty vague!

Thanks for reaching out. If you have a Chromecast device and it is already set up on your TV and connected to your Wi-Fi network then yes, you can use your Samsung A22 to cast videos to your TV. You can check this support website article to learn more.
