I have noticed an issue. Can someone confirm either that this is a bug, or tell me how to fix it?

I have the Google Home speaker, not the Mini but not the Nest Audio. I have two accounts voice matched on the device - myself and my wife.

If I set up household contacts on both, someone without a recognized voice match (such as my children) can only voice call contacts in MY household contacts (I was the first account on the device). It will not recognize the household contacts on my wife's account.

But routines, if my wife sets up one and I set up one, both can be activated by anyone.

Am I missing something?

Hey there Jon,

Routines should be able to be activated by anyone that has access to your Google Assistant devices, with the Voice Match being used to hide personal items from anyone who isn't you.

As for the separate contacts, according to this article, "Important: Only the person who set up the home in the Google Home app can set up household contacts."
