Google Home app not reading best temp sensors

I have both the Google home app and the nest thermostat app.

I have successfully connected my nest app to my Google home and Google Assistant. I can control my thermostat from my Google home app and my Google assistant.

I have successfully connected my nest temperature sensors to my Google nest app. I can prioritize the temperature to which ever sensor and get the readings from any of the sensors in the Nest app.

I can not, however, see the sensor devices nor connect them as devices in my Google home app. My Google I can not ask for and receive temperature readings from the sensors on my Google home app or my Google assistant.

I am finding more and more that google mad the Google devices are severely limited in their application, function, and user friendliness.

Is this a functional limitation of Google devices and Google IOT?
