Merkury smart plugs not responding to google assistant

When i go into the geeni app everything works, but i also got my stuff linked to my google home app, and although itll show everything thats on or off, it will not turn my stuff on or off by either tapping or asking google assistant to turn device on/off. Worked yesterday and now it wont work.

I have the same exact issue . My geeni app works fine , but the google home app even though I registered all my lamps and linked geeni there changed the names to fit my liking etc , none of my Merkury lamps work I tell google to turn something on and off and I get an error message . Strange thing is they were all just working yesterday . My guess is to wait .. linking and delinking doesn’t work , nethier resetting the google devices .. but anyways I hear ya man! You are not alone.. 🙂

I have the same problem no matter what I do I get the error sorry something went wrong with the then name of the room .

Ok so I signed out of my geeni account, then back in using "log in with Google option" then unlinked geeni, closed home app, relinked geeni in home and it's working now. Might be coincidence or maybe onto something 🤔.. thought I'd share just incase it helps someone..
