I performed a factory reset. Connected the wifi and am still having trouble linking the display.

Hey Cchuang76,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let me help you out.

A few questions: what's the message you're getting when connecting your Google Nest Hub to your network? Also, are you using a private network? If so, do you have a dual-band router?

Give these steps a whirl:

Go to iOS Settings> Wi-Fi. Connect to the Wi-Fi network that matches the device they're setting up.
Look for something like GoogleHomeXXXX.k, GoogleHomeXXXX.o, or GoogleHomeXXXX.p.
Navigate back to the Google Home app.
The device should now be detected.
Start setting up your device.
Check router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled).
If you're using an iOS, turn on Local network access for the Google Home app. Here's how: Privacy > Local Network > Google Home app.
