Cannot connect to App Store is an Apple related problem, and isn't specific to the Google Home app. To get the best support with that, I'd recommend contacting Apple Support.

Yeruult, kindly check your phone settings for software updates. Also, try using a different phone if possible. It's best to contact Apple support since they're the best team that can assist you with Apple Store.
