Can I still create a 'lights' group?

I used to have a device group called 'sofa lights' that controlled two wall lights either side of our sofa (via smart plugs). This was great as we could turn them on/off as a pair, independently of the whole living room lights group, that these lights are also in. The 'sofa lights' group has disappeared and I can't now see a way of grouping devices, only speakers. What am I missing? Thank you in advance for any help.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

To control your lights more easily, assign them to a room in a home. You can create a new home, create a new room, or add your lights to an existing room.

Note: All members of the home can control all lights in the home.

Add the bulb to an existing room in your current home

Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold the bulb's tile you want to add to a room.
At the top right, tap Settings Room choose a room tap Save.

Open the Google Home app .
Touch and hold the bulb's tile you want to add to a room.
At the top right, tap Settings Room scroll to the bottom and tap Add a custom room enter the room name tap Save.
