Has not been working for me for a couple of hours now even tried updating everything and rebooting the home.

Same for me. I tried to reinstall speaker, software,…nothing But it work with Spotify

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. Which Nest speaker/display? What is the exact message that everyone is getting? You all can try to create a new home and move your speakers/displays there and observe if the issue remains. Check this helpful link.
