I have an OPPO A73 and a Mac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 Am I able to use a Chromecast Home TV unit?

I'm a little unsure in what way you're wanting to use the Chromecast. Are you talking about plugging it into your Mac, or into a TV and then using the Mac to cast content? Can you give me a few more details about what you're looking to do?

Chromecast said both my phone and computer were incompatible with the Chromecast - I presume because they are older, so I bought the Firestick. I want to watch TV in my bedroom and with the Firestick it said there was a problem with my Wi Fi connection. When I Googled that, it said my Wi Fi was probably out of the range of the Firestick and I cannot move it any closer to the TV. There was a Wi Fi extension available and wondering if this will solve my Firestick problem. The TV is about 50 feet from my Wi Fi and it is around 2 corners. Thank you for taking the time to answer me.
