Linking services to Google Home

Hello,

I am trying to link services to my Google Home (in this case my Tapo account for smart plugs) and i get this error: Could not reach Tapo, please try again. Actually it happens with every service i am trying to link. I have used previously the home app succesfully (i have currntly Smart Things and V TAC lighting linked and working ok). Also in the past, i had linked Tapo service without a problem. Smart plug is working fine through Tapo app.

Any ideas on this?

Same issue here. Clicking down every possible provider shows the same "Could not reach xxxx. Please try again." error.

Any ideas, Google?

I am having the same issue with all services that are suppose to work with Google Home. For example trying to link Govee Home to control my led light strips I get the same Could not reach Govee Home, please try again. Tried this on numerous random services and all come back with the same results

Hey all,

Our team is aware of this and should be resolved now. Try to link your smart home devices again. Once done, try saying "OK Google sync my devices". Rebooting your devices and router might help too.
