Can't Link any third party service accounts to Google home

Using a Google Pixel 6.

I can't seem to link any third party accounts that fall under the "works with Google" list. Every time I tap on a service like geeni, i get a message that says "Could not reach geeni, please try again".

I get that message for every service on the list,

So far tried rebooting, clearing storage & cache, reinstalling, and issue persists. Any ideas?

I had this exact issue (still having) on my pixel 6 pro, my resolve has been to use my tablet. Its seems to be an issue between something specific to the phone, I think there might be an correlation between the google services on the phone and home app but havent figured it out yet and being that in a lot of the beta versions of those services, im expecting the issue to take a while to be wide spread

I'm having same issue on on Pixel 7 Pro. Swapped to my Galaxy S6 Tablet and the issue is present there as well. Unable to connect to any new third party device.

So I was able to dig up my old iPad mini and I was able to add third party services with no issue. After the devices were added they also showed up on my Google Pixel 6 and functioned normally through it. It seems like it is a device specific issue. So, i guess if you're experiencing this on your device, try to find another one to link your services.

Hey all,

We're sorry for the inconvenience. Our team is aware of this and should be resolved now. Try to link your smart home devices again. Once done, try saying "OK Google sync my devices". Rebooting your devices and router might help too.Let us know how it goes. If the issue persists, try these additional steps:

Open Google Play store > search for the Google app > select Uninstall.
Once done, the Google app rolls back to an older version.
Clear the Google app’s cache:
Go to Android Settings > choose Apps.
On the list of apps, find the Google app.
Tap Storage > select Clear cache.
Attempt to connect or link the third-party partner device in the Google Home app again.
