How to run a schedule without home wifi

We do not have wifi in our home because there is not an affordable internet provider solution that services our area. We turn phone hotspots on and off as we need internet.

Will the Google nest thermostat still run a schedule if it is not connected to wifi?

There is no reason to pay the premium price if all you want is schedules. Just get a progamable tstat.
