Unable to answer calls on new Google Nest Hub Max. I am setting up via my iOS. Please advise.

I am unable to receive calls on our new Google Nest Hub Max. It rings, but I cannot touch to answer or unmute the microphone. I am able to have the nest call out; and it worked to answer on my original smaller Google Nest Hub. What do I need to do to get it working on the Max? I have followed numerous directions (many of which do not match up to my iphone Google Home or via computer in my Google Account). I am frustrated, and a little impatient wanting to "play" with our new toy. I have set up many of the operations, but darn...this answering it is frustrating!

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: are you using Duo calling or carrier calling? Which country are you from?
