How secure is linking Feit smart bulbs to Google Home

I have some Feit smart bulbs I wanted to connect to Google Home.

What are the security implications of this? For example, if Feit was compromised, could someone have access to my Google account through the Feit account connection? Basically, I don't want the security of my Google network compromised by giving a 3rd-party "access" to my Google account.

When I give Feit access to my Google Home, how much access does Feit actually have?

Thanks for reaching out, let me help.

When you link your Feit account to your Google Home devices, you're giving your Google Home the ability to control your Feit devices not the other way around. Your Feit account doesn't have access to your Google Account. You can check this guide for more information.
