Great app - could be so much better

Some thoughts on how the Nest app could be better:

1) Homes, rooms, and device locations could be clearer - perhaps a hierarchy instead of independent definitions.

2) Why can't I add a nest mini to the nest app? It's annoying to have to use Google Home for some devices.

3) The thermostat history could do so much more (e.g., overlay temperature achieved on the history of use to see how pre-heating and learning not to overshoot are working. Similarly, for periods when Home/Away Assist is triggered.

Thanks for stopping by the community Jim-S! This is mostly a user to user community, therefore if this is important to you, I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback. Some thoughts on your points:

Curious what specifically what you change to make that clearer? What would you like to see in the app?
Nest Mini is designed for and setup in the Home app. In fact, all new devices are designed and setup in the Home app, and Google continues to work on migrating features specific to the Nest app, to the Home app.
