Google Assistant no longer recognizes "tell me a bedtime story" command

Up until 2 nights ago I could say "Hey Google, tell me a bedtime story", and it would play one of a dozen or so recorded stories from Story Nory(sp?). Now when I ask for a bedtime story as part of my routine, the google assistant responds "Sorry, I didn't understand". I've seen posts online where this has randomly happened to people over the last few years. How do you fix it?

I just checked and this is currently working for me. Are you still having the issue? At times that service may go down or you may need to reboot your device to get it to work again.

Thanks TechWithBrett! I finally got it to work once last night by specifically asking, "Hey Google, tell me a bedtime story from Story Nory". It worked once and went back to telling me it didn't understand. I just rebooted the nest point and home device in the bedroom and now it appears to work again. Just strange after years of working, it would act like it was a foreign command. Thanks again!

Ok, now 4 hours later and actually going to bed and the same device that I rebooted and tested is now not working again. 😞

I just tested this with "OK Google, tell me a bedtime story". It worked fine for me

This appears to have been fixed in the latest Google home update or just started working again. For awhile it was being picky about not answering "tell us a bedtime story" and only answering "tell me a bedtime story", and in the last update both work again. Thanks! Can be marked resolved.
