Changing ownership

We have recently sold our home and the new owners need access to the front door key pad and thermostat.

How do we hand over ownership? Do we need to delete our account first and then they set up an account?

This is Google Nest's moving guide for Nest devices.

No, you do not need to delete your Google Account, but you do need to remove the Google Nest devices.
