      <title>Nest/google doorbell</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My nest doorbell stopped working. I bought a replacement that says Google on it. I cannot add this camera to my home. I even got the old Nest Hello to start working again, and I can’t add that one to my home either. It gives me the error code NC009. That is supposedly a Wi-Fi issue. But, if I create a new home, these cameras connect just fine. I even got the old camera to start working again. What can I do to get these cameras added it to my main home account? I am so frustrated. I have over a dozen nest devices on my main account. Also, I know they are connecting to the Wi-Fi because I’m getting a notification when they connect, just before the app tells me they don’t. I do see that this is a common issue, but I don’t understand what the answer is. Please help me.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/303278"&gt;@Memaw&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are an increasing number of recent posts in this forum from customers getting errors--including the NC009 error--when trying to install or re-install a Google Nest camera or doorbell in an existing Google Nest "home/structure". Apparently, the customer's Google Nest "home/structure" has somehow gotten corrupted on Google Nest's servers, and Google Nest is either unable or unwilling to fix the problem, even though on some posts they've acknowledged the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;One solution customers have tried is to install everything in a new Google Nest "&lt;EM&gt;home/structure&lt;/EM&gt;", but that means losing any Nest Aware subscription on the original "&lt;EM&gt;home/structure&lt;/EM&gt;".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Several other customers have resorted to removing ALL of their Google Nest devices from their existing Google Nest "&lt;EM&gt;home/structure&lt;/EM&gt;" and then reinstalling them.&amp;nbsp; It's a pain if you have numerous devices.&amp;nbsp; This somehow resolves whatever corruption has happened to the customer's Google Nest "home/structure" on Google Nest's servers.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I think I knew deep down inside that starting a new home would be the only answer. As far as nest aware, just to alert other people, if you cannot add your new/reinstalled, cameras to the initial home, you will then have to pay for two $12 subscriptions every month. I guess I’ll get to it. Thank you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
