Thanks for reaching out. I know the feeling when you're having issues controlling your TV using the Google Home app. To confirm, has it worked before? Do you have a Google Home or Nest device? What is the make and model of your TV? Is it a cast-enabled TV? What is the Cast firmware version? Also, what are the steps that you've tried?

Please note that not all Smart TVs with built-in Chromecast support these features, and it is best if you reach out to your TV manufacturer to check if you can control the TV using a third-party application like the Google Home app.
