Unable to reply and emails bounce

I see replies from the Google nest community, but I’m unable to reply to their posts. states I need to verify email, but not sure how to go about that. Tried responding from email and bounces back. I’m logged into my Google account so I’m not sure where to go from here.

You have to click on the profile icon in the upper right corner in order to log into this forum, and then you can "Reply" to posts in this forum.

The “reply” bar isn’t highlighted on the other post- so unable to reply. I guess I’ll have to start a new thread.

Yes, thank you I was able to reply to his post however, the previous post seemed to have been closed already. But thanks for the follow up.
