I believe i know the answer, however...

My google account was hacked, all methods of me trying to get back in are a no go.

My 9 nest units obviously were on that account.

I don't suppose, that there is any way to have this account recovered and to have access returned to my 9 Protects.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to hard reset them and start from scratch.

Its too bad as huge a corporation as Google is, support for users is dismal.

If you use a gmail account. please 2FA that account. I didn't realize how dependent on my google account I actually was.

How does google allow all the changes that keep me from getting into my account happen at one time? I was sent messages to my backup email. google did nothing to verify the changes actually being made.

My mistake on not setting 2FA up in the first place.

Nope all these steps are USELESS. My hacked account had all the backup items in it changed or deleted
