Yale lock solution

Post a question last year on my Yale lock disconnecting and never reconnecting. My topic was locked and no one ever helped me with my support case. So if this has happening to you... I've figured it out finally.

The problem is, nest connect doesn't like mesh networks. I added a simple wifi connection point to my network that wasn't mesh. Connected the nest connect to it and my lock hasn't been offline for more than 10 minutes at a time in a month.

Don't use nest connect required products.

Judging from other posts in this forum, I think that Google Nest cameras and doorbells may also not like mesh networks.

excellent digging. who would think the mesh at it's level would be incompatible with Nest at its? I would not.

It's just my observation that many customers posting about problems with their cameras going offline or being unable to access video history also seem to also have mesh networks.
