Migrating nest to Google

Trying to migrate nest thermostat to Google. When I try, it says already have an account, something I may have done accidentally when setting up new thermostat. Not sure what to do at this point.

It seems like you're trying to migrate your Nest Account to a Google Account, but you're already using that Google Account for Google Nest devices.

of all thanks for helping me out. So I transferred the Nest to my wife’s Google account which worked. But now I cannot use my Alexa to control thermostat because my Amazon account is linked to my Google account and not my wife’s!

Thanks for posting here in the Community. For integrating your Google Nest device with an Alexa speaker, your Nest account should be migrated to Google, and then the email address on the Google Home app where your Nest device is added or migrated should be the same with the Alexa app. Here is a link to control Google Nest products with Amazon Alexa.
