Workday automation is stuck on pause

I tried to activate my workday automation, but after selecting the slider to activate the routine, it still displays as paused in the list of automations. I can’t prompt my google home to start the automation or click on it to start it.

I saw a similar issue posted for Android users where the automation was completely invisible when paused. This seems like it could be a related issue.

Thanks for reaching out. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: when did it begin? Are you using Android or iOS? Also, is the Google Home app updated?

Try to reinstall the Google Home app and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone can also help us isolate this.

Using iOS. The automation is now running, but still shows as inactive.

I shut off the automation early this year and decided to turn it on about a month back.
