smart device timers stop working

Hi, I have google home mini, using ipad google home app.

I use to be able to say "hey google turn on fan for one hour" and it would reply "OK turning on fan for one hour" for my smart outlets and the fan would shut off in a Hour

but now it doesn't say it anymore and the fan stays on permanently, it just reply "OK turning on fan"

just notice this happening this month

I've made no changes nor added any devices recently

any help is appreciated

I have the same problem happened recently. Google Home changed all smart devices to outles even light switch name changed to : Light "outlet"

As outlets google home will not allow timers for on/off for safety reasons.

The question is why google home changed all smart appliances to outlets?
