Nest Apple TV app

Does google ever plan to fix the issues with the Nest Apple TV app? The fact that they killed this feature is utterly dumbfounding. Do better.

Apple TV OS 12 or later. To get the latest version, refer to the following https://goo.gle/48mYkYo article: Update Apple TV software.
A Nest account that hasn’t been migrated to a Google account.
Get the Nest app for Apple TV.
