Cannot connect matter lock to Google home

I have followed the steps you have provieded to connect to a yale x matter lock but when I attempt to do so through the Google Home app it gets stuck on the checking network connection step then eventually fails. I am connecting through a nest hub gen 2 and my tablet has android version 14.

Just to make sure we’re on the same page, is your device a Nest x Yale Lock?

If yes, the lock should be added to the Nest app. Follow the instructions for more information about Nest × Yale Lock installation and setup.
On the other hand, if you have a different model of Yale lock, contact Yale support for further assistance.
