Can't sign into Nest app with Google credentials

Hey please help me to back my nest account was created using my Google account. When trying to add my Nest CO monitor to Google Home I can't get logged into Nest. This is because it asks for email and password but you cannot choose to login using your Google account. After a failed login, you even get the following warnings

I'm just another Google Nest customer.

What warning messages are you getting?

If you are one of the rare people who created a Nest Account using a gmail account years ago and have been signing onto the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Nest" option, then you should be able to continue doing so.

On the other hand, if you created your Nest Account since 2019 and have been logging onto the Google Nest app using the "Sign in with Google" option, then you should be able to continue doing so.

Nest Protects can only be installed in the Google Nest app, and cannot be installed in the Google Home app.
