Home App Device List Refresh

Is there any way to change the refresh time on the device list? It's annoying when I'm trying to search my device list and it refreshes every 5 seconds. I can see you can reorder it, but the refresh rate is always 5 seconds. I'm a fast reader, but come on!

I'm in total agreement with you, @ManleysNJ. Google Home -> WiFi -> Devices on my iPhone (iOS v18) does the same & it's totally frustrating. The drop-down list to sort in a partucular order is not helpful because the refresh interval is always 5 seconds. To make it worse the position within the list being viewed changes randomly at each refresh (that is, I'm looking at the 5th device from the top, then a refresh puts me to somewhere else at next refresh [not always back to the top]). The Device List page is almost totally useless for me to see what devices are (or have been) on my network.

Thanks for posting in the community! I understand how inconvenient it can be that the list of devices is refreshed every 5 seconds in the Google Home app. I'd be happy to help.

For now, the option to change the time to refresh the devices isn’t currently available. However, I understand this is a helpful feature, and we hope to make it available in the future.
