so its almost 2025. its been years. why are all lights in a room grouped into one group

and cannot be turned into custom groups. i have to say... this ISN'T a smart home app, its very much a dumb home app. in every metric at this point. my home automation in a sim game is more robust than this.... i mean c'mon...

I agree. I have living room lights that I'd love to be able to split into Reading Lights and Ceiling Lights, but under the Google Home app's devices page, it's just Living Room Lights. While it's nice it's organized automatically, there needs to be a way to customize it and control how the devices are presented.
