Hotspot inquiry

Hi, this is concerning two wired second generation cameras. Where can set up be done and how can stream be continuous without the source connection hotspot, ie an iPhone and it's mobile data near the devices at all time?

To answer your concern, basically you can connect this camera in the setup process to the network created by your mobile hotspot; however, this is not entirely recommended since this type of signal may present failures in the connection or fluidity of the device.

Thank you for the follow up. Must the camera be connected through the device that has the source connection from which the hotspot is?

To answer your questions, these cameras need to have the WiFi connection stable to work. So the camera must be connected through the device with the hotspot active.
