Same issue as a previous post but Im not impressed with the answer as imo the answer and Google's lack of foresight into the matter is frustrating to say the least. So I have Google fiber (from Google, right?).

I had a Nest Pro router that had tons of interference issues and very poor upload speeds so horrible service.

Google Fiber then recommended and sends a Google technician to set up the new GFiber WiFi 6E Router, right but doesn't mention and even nobody thought to say that this device isn't compatible with Google Home app. This i find out from talking to multiple Google Home customer service reps on the phone to eventually get one who says they're not compatible.

How the heck does a trillion $ company not train their people to know this stuff let alone not simply make this router compatible if their going to promote it? This is ridiculous!

This router isn't even compatible with the mesh extenders (speakers) invested in year ago.

How can there not be a software patch or upgrade to simply make this work? Again a trillion $ company. Not rocket science!

Can someone help me understand this? Is there a third party app out there that is available for this router to help manage my home network in the ways "Home" does, such as controlling devices on the network etc.
