Nest app not turning on cameras when my phone is away

This *used* to work. When my phone was away from home the outdoor security cameras turned on. They turned off when I (or rather my phone) returned home. Now it does not work. I recently updated my phone to iPhone 16 pro max. Other than that no changes. Phone location services are set to allow nest app to access location all the time. What do I need to do to fix this?

To understand why this is happening, please provide the following information:

Did you start experiencing this after updating your phone?
Are you the only one on your account, or are there other family members?
What is your country of residence?

In the meantime, I recommend visiting Nest Home and Away not working.
