Issue with adding device to rooms

For some reason unknown to me, my Wiim Ultra was once again removed from the room I had added it to.

Usually, the fix is easy; I add it to a room in the house from the local device.

Since yesterday, this has been impossible because adding a local device to a room crashes Google Home.

On my phone (s25+), several warnings have appeared about a bug that makes GH unstable when performing that operation.

Currently, therefore, I am unable to add local devices to rooms.

I have seen reports on Reddit as well, so I assume it's a GH-side issue.

Are you aware of this? Is there a resolution timeframe?

I have also had this issue for months on my Pixel 9 Pro. The app crashes every single time I try adding a local device to a room. I select on the device "add to room" and I'm presented with the screen to select which Home to add to (I have 2 homes available). When I select the home, the app crashes.

When did the inconvenience start?
What troubleshooting have you done so far?
Is there any error message or code?
Which Google Nest device are you trying to add in the room?
