    <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently moved into a new home and one of the nests is not able to connect through the QR code and does not give me a key code to enter into the app. Of course there is no help or a one 800 number what a joke for customer service.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Does the phone you use have a QR code scan feature?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is this the first time you’re installing the device?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Are you using the Nest app or the Google Home app to manage your Nest device?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

The QR code and setup key are physically printed on the back of the thermostat for Nest Thermostat (2020) and will be displayed on screen for Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Nest Thermostat E, Nest Learning Thermostat (1st, 2nd, 3rd gen)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
