My google home has a female voice even if in the home app i have set it as a male

Our Nest Hubs randomly switch between male and female voices and have done so for years.

To better investigate this situation, please provide the following information:

Have you tried temporarily setting a different voice to see if that changes as well?
What is the firmware version of your Google Nest Hub? Here’s a helpful article about how to find the firmware version of your device.

For now, I’d suggest the following steps:

Check for App Updates: Ensure your Google Home app is updated to the latest version.
Double-Check Your Voice Settings: Open the Google Home app or Google Assistant app on your smartphone and ensure the male voice is still selected. Remember, if you've added other home members to your Google Home structure, changes they make to voice settings will apply to all your Assistant devices.
