      <description>&lt;P&gt;Has anyone run into this issue lately? As in, the last few days--this weekend, I was able to use Google Home to turn my Xbox Series X on and off at will. It's never been a particularly reliable service, but it's&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;EM&gt;generally&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;worked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today, I came back from work and found Google Home telling me "Sorry, I can't reach Xbox now." I try again; same thing. Of course, the console turns on fine (it always turns on, I wish Google were as reliable), but Google Home can't see it (even though the Xbox app can see both my consoles). So I do the next thing, which is I try reconnect the link in Google Home. Nothing. I already restarted my router yesterday as a matter of maintenance, so I decide I'll try unlinking and then reattaching the Xbox service from Google Home (something I have to do when my other Google Home-compatible devices fail).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That was a mistake. More than 3 hours of troubleshooting with Google Nest Support (to their credit, they kept trying, they just never succeeded), and Google Home adamantly refuses to link with my Xbox account under any circumstances. Run the handshake website through Chrome incognito, delete my phone's Microsoft account permissions, rename the console, reset my router and modem, whatever; nothing at all works. I either get a loop where Google Home sends me back to the "Are you sure you want to do this?" screen or simply tells me&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;CAN NOT FIND XBOX. PLEASE TRY AGAIN.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;It's extremely demoralizing, hoping to fix an already unreliable feature only to lose total access to it. At this point, I honestly think there's some sort of service outage on Xbox, or more likely (considering&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;EM&gt;their&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;app works) Google's side. Is anyone else running into anything like this? Google Home's reliability when it came to controlling Xbox has always been...very sketchy (at least the Xbox app on Android is reliable), but this seems particularly bad. On reddit, some people seem to be confirming that there's an outage and currently no one can control Xbox devices through Google Home, or set up Xbox on Google Home at all.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;EDIT: It looks like the connection was restored yesterday (so, around 16:00 EST/21:00 GMT, 12 February) by Google. So you should be able to re-pair the Google Home connection your Xbox account now fortunately.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have experience the same, I already tried everything said on internet but still can't connect to xbox, I wonder if the NAT type on xbox side affects this, I haven't tried connecting Xbox with LAN Cable tho.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm going to try it now, and I will messing with the router settings on ALG and UPnP settings. last time I couldn't connect wireless switch because of my ALG settings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I will give update further more&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It’s affecting a large number of users, and everyone reports that it started on the exact same day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My Xbox Series X is also showing as offline in the Google Home app, and attempting to reconnect the Xbox Live service returns the same “Could not reach Xbox” error. This is not a local network or device issue — Xbox Live is fully operational, the console is online, and everything works normally outside of Google Home.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Neither Google nor Microsoft has acknowledged the outage, and Google Nest Support is still giving generic troubleshooting steps like “remove the Xbox from the app and reconnect it,” which is counterproductive because once the device is removed, it cannot be re‑added during this outage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Based on the volume of Reddit threads and Google forum posts appearing since the issue began, this is clearly not isolated to individual users. It appears to be a broader outage in the Google ↔ Xbox integration that needs engineering attention on Google’s side.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this point, the best we can do is continue reporting the issue through Google Home app feedback, contacting Google Nest Support, and making both Google and Microsoft aware that this is an ongoing, widespread outage affecting many users — not a one‑off setup problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Going by feedback on r/Googlehome, this looks less like an "outage" (which was a problem in the past), and more like Google Home, amid usual clean up sweeps of obsolete/sunsetted handshaking/system integration (e.g. getting rid of an old app's handshaking after the new app has replaced it in Google Home), effectively ended support for Xbox in Google Home (and Microsoft, which instead focused on integrating its various Xbox-related apps on Android into a single platform, including the remote control app, did not replace it at any point). In which case, it's effectively discontinued unfortunately.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just happened to check my Google Home app and I can confirm that this miraculously fixed itself in the past hour or two. Xbox now shows completely online in the Google Home app and I even went as far as manually reconnecting the two services just to be sure and everything linked correctly as it should have. Hopefully this has been fixed for everyone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It seems almost certainly to be down again, with all the same signs as last time (my two devices are both shown as being unavailable on Google Home). If you're able to, I'd put in a help request with Google Nest Customer Support or even message them via Twitter (or whatever else), just to bring it to their attention while we wait for it to (hopefully) come back up.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm 99.9% sure its just a coincidence but to answer your question, I sent feedback via the Google Home app. Click your profile image at the top right side of the screen and then scroll down to the very bottom of the page that opens.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;12 hours later and I can confirm that both of my Xbox Ones are still connected to my Google Home app and are responding to voice commands. I sure hope this keeps working otherwise I am going to seriously consider switching to the Amazon platform. That would mean replacing half a dozen cameras, as many speakers, a thermostat and sensors. The fact that my kids cant call my cell phone with the Google Hub Max anymore has me irritated almost enough to switch as it is.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyway.... Good luck! Fingers crossed this keeps working.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
