Hi.
I have an old chromecast and a newer Google TV.
In the Google Home app I can choose the “use the 50hz HDMI mode” under settings->video for my old chromecast, but for the google TV I don’t have the video-option under settings. How can I change to 50hz mode?

Hi @Maahansen,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're looking for the 50Hz HDMI mode for your Chromecast with Google TV, just like you had on your older device. Don't worry, I'm happy to help you with this!

Since the Chromecast with Google TV interface is built directly into the device, those display settings are now managed through the TV screen rather than the Google Home app.

To change your refresh rate to 50Hz, please follow these steps:

Go to Settings (the gear icon) at the top right of your Google TV home screen.

Select Display & Sound.

Go to Advanced display settings.

Select Resolution.

Look for and select the option that ends in 50Hz (for example, 1080p 50Hz or 4K 50Hz).

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Beula
