Nest Hub and Smart Plugs

My Gen 1 Nest Hub won't recognize Smart Plugs that are present in the Google Home app - - and which are flawlessly controlled by other connected assistants.

How can I get my Nest Hub to recognize the plugs? Thanks!

Hey there,
I understand that issues with smart plugs can be confusing but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried? I would suggest reviewing this article that talks about what Smart Plugs are compatible as well as reaching out to our Google Assistant Forum and writing to them there as this is a question that they would be able to help answer.
