Samsung Tablet - cant access anything through google play. Find app 'try again'

Have a new tablet but a cannot download any apps beyond the ones already on the tablet. Can't get anything through google Play. Trying to hook up google home app for chrome cast through tablet. Won't let me download the app. Can't find google play even though the app is on my tablet. Help.

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Google Play issue? If not, I'd encourage you to check out the articles and community over on Google Play's side of things. This forum is for users of the Chromecast line of products.
