Google tv doesn’t recognise Australian apps

Hi - I have my google tv connected in Australia, however, when i try to access apps like Stan, Foxtel, it says the apps are not available in this country. How can I fix that?

I am sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that country issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I'd be disappointed if I could not download my favorite apps. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Do you have your location set in the Google Home app?
Are you able to see what country you're in on Google Play?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Hi Jeran,

thanks for your reply… apparently the issue was related to my google pay account being set up in Switzerland… I have changed to australia and all is good now!
