Plans to allow sonos in speaker groups?!

Hi.

Just bought a IKEA Symfonisk (Sonos Speaker).

screwed up on the wall and fastened the cable directly over a newly renovated wall.

then I was going to add the speaker to my speakergroup and the sonos speaker will not appear.

I have read afterwards and understand that this has been a problem for years !? why? other manufacturers are compatible and the speaker is marketed that it works with google assistant, then it is assumed that it also works in google home, but not ... can i get answers or do i and many others buy things from other manufacturers?

That would be a question for Sonos , they are the manufacturer of that speaker and they are the ones doing the work in the back end to make it work with different systems. Sorry we couldn't be of more help!
