Unrecognized Fee From Google Nest

I just had a charge I don't recognize put on my credit card from Google Nest for $32.40. I see on Jan 1, they put on $1 and took it back off, obviously to verify the account. I just paid $60/year for the Nest Aware. I wasn't aware there is a charge to use the Nest. Is there? And is it per unit, since I have 2? I'll have to reconsider this if it costs over $400/year. I consider this frivolous. I was aware they would be charging for the Google Nest Sleep but was never notified of changes. Last I read it wasn't supposed to start charging until 2023. Thanks.
