The Google Wifi app lists all devices and retains some functionality, but warns the functionality has moved to the Google Home app. Many features have been disabled from the Google Wifi app. The Google Home app does not contain a "Wifi" icon, though. It does contain the nest units as speakers, so the Google Home app does see them.

I am also extremely dissatisfied with the performance of the Nest Wifi performance, with a lot of packet loss and unstable connection when playing games.

Hey there Klas Skogmar,

I'm so sorry for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to make sure that your concerns were addressed. I understand that wifi issues can be frustrating and confusing at times, but I'm happy to help.

I would first suggest checking this article that has some steps to help walk you through the issues with the app.

I found these steps within the article that may help for your specific situation:

Only the owner of the Google Wifi network can migrate Google Wifi and OnHub networks to the Google Home app. For “Import Google Wifi network” to appear, log into the Google Home app with the same account that is used as the “Owner” in the Google Wifi app.

Additionally, if you originally set up your devices in the Home app or already have access to all of your Google Wifi or OnHub devices in the Home app, “Import Google Wifi network” won’t appear and migration is not needed.

Check which account is the owner:

Open the Google Wifi app

Tap Menu

and select your Wifi network.
Tap Settings and actions tab

Network & general

Managers.

Note: If you use multiple accounts with the Google Wifi app for different networks and can’t find the network you’re looking for, you may need to switch accounts in the Google Wifi app to find your network owner.

To change accounts in the Google Home app for Wifi migration

Open the Google Home app

At the top right, tap your account.
Tap your current account name and then choose the owner account found in the Google Wifi app. If your account isn’t listed, tap Add another account.
Once the correct account is selected, you should be able to migrate your network.

To address your concerns about not getting a great performance out of your wifi, I would contact your ISP as well as review this article that has some great troubleshooting steps that you can try to improve your wifi.
