Hi Brian,

To change the language on your Google Assistant, open the Google Home app, tap on your profile picture in the top right and choose "Assistant Settings".

From here, select languages, and you will be able to select the languages you would like to use with your Google Assistant.

ok, my account its self changed to spanish i've incldued a screen shot. I did not make this change. I do speak spanish but it is extremely difficult to understand what nest is saying in spanish. thats why we usually leave it in english.

I need it to be in english.

I did name the nest "casa" which is the spanish word for home, I sincerely hope that this company did not just read the name of the device and decide to arbitrarily change the ENTIRE account to spanish. A spanish dialect that I do NOT understand. I am esentially locked out of my account.

please explain, or change my account back to english.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your account, I'm sure it's confusing but I'm happy to help.

I would suggest using these steps to try and fix your language issue on your account.

Sign in to your Google Account.
On the left, click Personal info.
Under "General preferences for the web," click Language Edit .
Search for and select your preferred language.
Click Select.
If you understand multiple languages, click + Add another language.
