Nest Cam with Floodlight

If the Google Nest Cam/Floodlight is turned on using the Google Home app, does the light stay on until I turn it off? I was told it will only stay on for 10 seconds to 5 minutes (depending on the setting) and will shut off when no motion is detected.

Is there a way to make the light stay on until I use the Google Home app to turn it off?
